Alopecia can be a complex condition to deal with, both physically and emotionally. It can affect men, women, and children alike. Having Alopecia throughout my life taught me that with or without hair, I am fine. Being a little black girl wearing a hat or a little afro wig was no fun. I used to believe the woman I am and am becoming was far removed from me. Then I found ways to deal with my journey. Finding inspiration when dealing with Alopecia is essential. It definitely helps when you look to others who have gone through similar experiences.
